Hyderabad, Mar 3 : Ahead of the two-day visit of members of the Srikrishna Committe, constituted to go into the Telangana issue, politburo of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti today decided to submit a detailed memorandum highlighting the need for creation of a separate Telangana state.

Addressing a press conference here, TRS President K Chandrasekar Rao who chaired the meeting, said the party firmly believed that the views of the TRS, espousing the cause of Telangana, should not go unrepresented.

''We will submit a comprehensive report to the Committee covering various aspects and the continuing injustice meted out to the region and violation of various agreements reached from time-to-time including the gentlemen agreement, the Presidential order, six point formula and 610 GO,'' he said, adding the report would be made public.

He welcomed State Panchayat Raj Minister B Satyanarayana's reported statement in favour of division of the state.

Soon after the Centre announced the Terms of Reference(ToR) for the Committee, the TRS had rejected the ToR as the same, it felt, was ''unfavourable'' to creation of Telangana state and announced that all its elected representatives would quit on a call given by the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee dissatisfied with the ToR.

State Assembly Speaker N Kirankumar Reddy had accepted the resignations of 10 TRS MLAs, besides one MLA each of the TDP and the BJP, while rejecting the papers put in by one PRP and two Congress members.

But, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar had rejected the resignation of Mr Rao and also TRS Medak MP Vijayshanti.
